Privacy
What you type here stays on your device.
Your text stays in your browser
Text you translate into braille, words you fingerspell, writing you check and signs you make are processed entirely in your browser. They are never sent to us or anyone else. Files you download are made on your device.
What is stored on your device
A few choices are kept in your browser's local storage so they are ready next time: your colour theme, your last sign's wording and settings, and your fingerspelling practice settings and score. Text you paste into the braille translator and readability checker is not saved. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes everything.
Page view counts
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and see which tools are useful. It does not use cookies, does not track you across other sites, and never receives what you type, choose or print in the tools.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse; see Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Links to other sites
Links to other websites, including the tools we recommend, are ordinary links. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
